One, Big, Beautiful Week
AAF's latest on the One Big Beautiful Booklet, tariff refunds, anti-fraud reforms, + more
Happy Friday from Advancing American Freedom,
This week, we released the One Big Beautiful Booklet, a deep, comprehensive look at all of the ways that OBBB was a major win for America. It’s 90 pages long, but it’s not a tome. It contains 66 one- and two-page memos that each give a digestible summary of the OBBB’s major provisions. One staffer we met with this week called the booklet “wildly helpful.” We think you’ll agree.
Below you’ll find a selection of reports, op-eds and analysis by AAF scholars on everything from data center moratoriums to the quarter-century decline in unionization rates. David Burton from AAF’s Plymouth Institute valiantly waded into the legal “mess” (Justice Kavanaugh’s word) that tariff refunds have created.
As always, email John or Jace if you have questions!

Sanders and Ocasio-Cortez’ Data Center Moratorium Would Kill Homegrown Tech (The Washington Times) — Austin Gae
Bernie and AOC want America to halt its production of new AI data centers until there are “strong national safeguards in place.” This would kill energy demand, incentivize data centers to leave the country, and make America less competitive in the race for global AI dominance.
For the Third Time, SCOTUS Tells Colorado to Stop State-Enforced Homosexuality (The Federalist) — Thomas Jipping
“The Supreme Court, for the third time, has slapped down another attempt by Colorado to control what people say, think, and do regarding sexuality and the sexes.”
A Quarter Century of Union Decline — Rachel Greszler
“While some claim that unions are on the ‘comeback,’ the reality is that union membership continues to decline and it’s unlikely to rise unless unions adapt their outdated models.”
